About Us

This might take me a bit to develop in a way I'll want to keep, so for now I'll give you the basics of who we are. My husband is Vu Le (pronounced "lay"), is 23, and I am Katie Le and am 24. We live in the Twin Cities, which is in Minnesota in the US. We became close friends in high school who talked solely about God, (didn't even know what kind of music each other liked,) met again in January of 2007, and were married on May 12th of that very year! God designed us in our mothers' wombs for each other and arranged our relationship; we are extremely happy in our ever-improving marriage. We never want to part and go everywhere together, even often holding hands when we go up stairs. Vu graduated from the U of M with a BS in computer science this year, previously having interned at Mayo Clinic, and will soon have a job! My story of jobs since high school was specifically directed by God and will be explained further in an article I'll write, but went something like this: baby/dog/cat/house-sat since I was young, was a waitress at a retirement home in high school, was a nanny for my three years after high school, reorganized, cleaned and somewhat redecorated two houses, worked nights at Target, was a Chiropractic Assistant, and then became a housewife struggling with her health. Vu has been drawn to the Christian God since he was young and was born of God when he was fourteen. I was raised in a Christian home and was born of God myself when I was about eight. God has privileged both of us with not only many practical interactions with Him, but also with incredible spiritual experiences (that I will write of and link to later here), These are on-going and will continue at their varying intervals for the rest of our lives. I'm very eager to share these with you as they will give you an idea of what God can do in your own life and of what He's like! We base all we understand of God first of all on His Word (the Bible), and because of that do not agree with the concept of denominations as they divide what should be the undivided Body of believers, just as His Word reveals (1 Corinthians 1:10). Thus we simply consider ourselves Christian; we do not affiliate ourselves or this website with any denomination of any kind. I have always loved books and dabbling a bit with writing, (though I can honestly say I don't know what I'm doing with it,) and Vu has always loved computers and dabbling with technology. I see this as the perfect marriage of "skills" for a website such as this and earnestly hope God will make some use of it. Vu does the programming and technical stuff and I make it pretty and fill it in with lots of words. lol I pray that God will move in both of us as we create this, and that He will also move in you as you experience our beloved creation, Growing in Grace (GiG).
